Axess TV is aimed at viewers with high demands on learning content and stringent thought. A significant part of the programming consists of documentaries, often with a historical focus, sourced from leading international production companies. The channel also broadcasts the occasional quality drama series.
In-house productions include recordings from seminars organized by Axess or the Foundation, as well as productions made especially for Axess TV, such as the current affairs show Studio Axess; the interview show Global Axess, on one theme per season; Luthersson läser världslitteraturen (Luthersson reads the classics), discussing literary classics; the panel of historians Historisk Axess (Historical Axess); and Veckans bok (Book of the Week) on current Swedish non-fiction.
Axess TV is available on the digital terrestrial television network, from leading cable TV distributors, and on the internet. Axess is intensifying its activities on social media, including Facebook, Twitter and Youtube.
